Careers Advice and Guidance
We are committed to providing an Information, Advice and Guidance Programme which enables students to investigate learning and career opportunities and gain the skills, knowledge and understanding you need to effectively manage your individual career path.
Careers lessons are delivered through the Learning for Life programme. You will also spend time working with Connexions advisors in small groups and in individual interviews. Other career focused events such as careers fairs, higher education workshops and Aim Higher activities are scheduled throughout the academic year. You are also encouraged to undertake independent research into careers using the Careers Library and computer based research.
Events such as the Options Evenings and Open Evenings provide additional support and guidance at key points in Years 9 and 11.
