Church Hill Road Closure

Friday 17th August 2018

Due to the construction of the new College building, please be aware that a section of Church Hill, outside the main entrance to Helston Community College, will be closed for essential service works from 30th July 2018 until 17th August 2018.  This means that Water-Ma-Trout Industrial Estate will not be accessible via Church Hill during this period. Post 16 Examination Results

Year 13 students from Helston Community College celebrated receiving their A-level and BTEC/OCR National results today. We were particularly delighted with the number of students who excelled in the new, tougher 'Applied' subjects, with a large number of Distinction* grades awarded. Our Year 13 students are moving on to a diverse range of higher education courses, employment, further vocational training and apprenticeships. This year sees the vast majority of the students bound for higher education, with 40% destined for highly regarded Russell Group universities. The Head Boy/Head Girl interviews were an incredible challenge this year – the quality of the students was impressive. Lost property

The college has a large quantity of unnamed lost property, including drinks bottles, pencil cases, glasses, house keys, blazers, coats and PE kits.  If your child has lost something this academic year, could you please ask them to come to either North or South Site reception to have a look. Could we please ask that all resources, uniform and shoes are named to allow us to return any lost items to their correct owner....
