Student Safety

The College is aware of the concerns which some parents and students have expressed over safety when children are walking home from College (especially after dark). We have been in touch with the Police and they are aware and responding. Heads of Progress and Tutors are working with all of our students to remind them of what they can do to keep themselves safe after leaving the College to walk home (e.g. keeping to main roads, not making detours down back streets and alley ways,  keeping to busy areas and, if possible, walking in pairs)....

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to postpone the Year 9 Parent Information Evening this coming Thursday. Rather than ask you to diary yet another evening, we have decided to go ahead with the Parent Teacher Consultations on Tuesday 2nd February and run the Options Introduction Evening as sessions within the Options 'Market Place' Evening on Wednesday 10th February. Co-operative Trust News

As you are aware, the schools in our area work together as part of the Southerly Point Co-operative Educational Trust. There is currently a vacancy for a parent representative on the Trust Board. Wear a Christmas Jumper Day
