Battlefields trip competition

9th January 2018

Last term, a competition was offered to all students in the College to research a Cornish person or place with a link to the First World War, and then to complete a piece of fiction writing to express their research findings. The entries for the competition were outstanding and it was extremely difficult to judge. However, the judges eventually settled on Charlotte King in 11F and Kerenza Stevens in 10K as the competition winners, with a Highly Commended Prize going to Thomas Sharratt in 8K for his extraordinarily mature and sophisticated piece of writing.

Certificates of Participation also go to Freyja in 9K,Charlotte in 7B, Joshua in 7K, Serena in 8A, Ella in 8C, Amelia in 7K, Rosie in P5, Lily in 7D, Edward in 9A and Alfred in P3. Congratulations to you all.
