Royal Marines visit the College

1st December 2017

Several students took part this year, all of whom have their sights set on a military career.

The students that took part were from Mullion year 11, Helston year 11 and a combination of Helston Post 16 students.  This proved to be the perfect opportunity for individual students to become team leaders and compete against each other whilst encouraging their peers to be the best.

The day was a huge success and it has given the students a real goal to get fit, work hard and aim high.

The Royal Marines feedback was excellent, saying that all the students that actively took part in the day's events were extremely motivated, focused, well behaved and a pleasure to work with.

CSgt Hands RM later contacted the College to say "Yet again the calibre of student from Yr 11, Yr 12 & Yr 13 was a credit to the School and Sixth Form and we look forward to continue working with you and your students again in the future."
