Teacher or Unqualified Teacher/Instructor of Construction

Start Date: September 2024

Salary:  Teacher:  [£30,000 -£46,525 pro rata] Unqualified Teacher/Instructor [£20,598 -£32,134 pro rata]

Contract: Part Time, Permanent / 0.4 fte [2 days per week]

Required for September 2024, Teacher of Construction to join our successful and experienced team to deliver City & Guilds Level 2 in Construction.  This post could be suitable for qualified teachers, or someone with specialist trade skills and industry experience, but no teaching qualifications.  Support will be provided as required.

This post is advertised as a part-time position [0.4 FTE].  This is equivalent to 2 full days per week during term time, but it may be possible to organise this as part days if preferred.

Opportunity
Our Creative Arts Faculty are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Art Teacher who is knowledgeable and passionate about their subject. We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, passionate and inspiring Art teacher, from either September or November 2024. Applicants must be passionate about learning, creative in the classroom and believe that all students can achieve. A 0.4 part-time position is available as a minimum, but we would consider more hours for the right person.
 
Teacher of Technology [ Full Time or Part Time]

Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Technology from September 2024 to join the Technology and Enterprise Faculty. This post would suit an experienced or an early career teacher [ECT] who is committed to teaching at the highest standard and raising the aspirations and achievements of our students. We are equally happy to receive applications from candidates who are seeking either a full or part time appointment.

Flexibility within the timetable will allow us to develop the curriculum area that is best suited to the successful candidate’s skills and area of specialism. Specialisms in Food Preparation and Nutrition, and/or Design Technology are welcome. Technology is taught through a broad variety of projects and materials in KS3. This continues into KS4 and Post 16 through very popular GCSE and A Level courses. We have a number of fully equipped Technology, Engineering, and CAD/CAM workshops.

Technology is an important part of the curriculum and is a subject that provides many creative and exciting opportunities for our students.
