During the accreditation visit, reviewers praised the calm, positive atmosphere evident across the school and the consistently warm, purposeful interactions between staff and students.
The panel highlighted the successful implementation of high quality teaching strategies, noting how these approaches ensure that teaching strategies are “helpful for all” and enable students to access curriculum content with confidence. The expertise within the SEND team was commended, with students and parents speaking positively about the support they receive.
Reviewers also noted a whole school dedication to inclusion, reflected in every conversation with staff and in the reflective, honest and positive feedback from students. This award celebrates HCC’s commitment to getting it right for every learner.
