Apprenticeship Fair (15th January 2020)

In order to support our Year 13 students who have are not applying to university, on Wednesday 16th January we held an apprenticeship fair in the Post 16 Centre. Employers including: IBM, Serco, RCH Treliske, Francis Clarke Accountancy, Pendennis Shipyard, Dynamo Health Care, HM Forces, Cornwall County Council, and our very own Southerly Point Multi-Academy Trust were present. A number of alumni now work for these employers, and they offered possible employment as well as up to Level 4 apprenticeships. Over 30 students attended with their parents/carers, allowing them to research apprenticeship opportunities for when they leave Post 16 at the end of this year.

The College was delighted to receive very positive feedback from both students, parents/carers and employers.
