Building on the challenge completed last year by staff at Helston Community College, raising over £3000, it is now time to pass the baton to the students.
On Friday 11th July, Helston students have been set the challenge to walk, run, cycle or row as many miles as they can, with each year group aiming to complete the 630 miles of the SW coastal path in one hour!
In honour of the RNLI's 200th anniversary, our ultimate goal is to raise an impressive £13,000 to purchase a vital in-shore rescue boat that will aid in the RNLI's lifesaving missions.
Amidst the excitement of these challenges lies a deep-rooted cause - the need to raise awareness about water safety and drowning prevention. The stark reality remains that many lives are still lost to the waters. This is where the RNLI shines as a beacon of hope and resilience, extending their helping hand to those in distress with unwavering dedication and courage.
