Do you like the idea of using science and maths to help people and the environment? Have you always enjoyed solving problems in creative ways? If so, join us and test your technical and team skills with industry experts at one of the UK’s leading universities. Run by The Smallpeice Trust, this course sees you working with young people your age to unlock your potential as a future brilliant engineer and could be the first step on a career path that can really take you places. This course is for 12 to 14-year-old female students (Years 8/9 or equivalent).

Staying at Loughborough University, this course lets you experience life away from home and combines fun, action packed days with a programme of evening social activities, led by an experienced team of Smallpeice youth delivery experts and supervisors.

Girls Into Engineering is supported by GE HealthCare and Leonardo. By partnering with these amazing companies, we are able to introduce you to experts in the field and allow you to develop and test your own products with the support and guidance of people who live the engineering life every day.

‘I liked meeting new people who were interested in the same things as I am and doing all the practical parts of the course like soldering and building the connectors.’ Girls Into Engineering Student 2022
