Oxbridge Vet & Medicine 2020

19th January 2020

The College was delighted to find out this week that all of the students who had interviews at Oxford or Cambridge before Christmas received offers to study there next year.

We want to say a massive thank you to all the staff who have helped to support these students with the very long process which began around this time last year.
Thomas Fogg (Physics), Finlay Ford (Engineering) and Oli Wedlake (Engineering) received offers from Oxford and Lucy Treloar secured an offer to study Veterinary Science at Cambridge. We were also delighted to hear that Jacob Tiddy has secured an offer for Medicine at Plymouth.

The students have had to prepare for additional entrance exams, designed to stretch the most able students in the country, submit their applications early, and undertake a series of mock interviews before their real ones in December. These are hugely competitive courses, for example the official statistics from the University of Oxford, relating to the Physics course states that only 14% of applicants are offered a place, and so the College is immensely proud of the achievements of these, and indeed all of our students currently securing offers from a huge range of universities.

Mr Dudley (Head of Sixth Form).
